KICCContract Date February 2006 KICC is a large Church which holds around 3000 people. KICC required their facility to be re-designed and upgraded from analogue to digital, with a requirement for all equipment in the new system to be "Broadcast Standard". Job Description - Design, supply and installation of 8-camera Production facility for the main auditorium at KICC. Challenges - The customer did not wish to loose any facilities while the refurbished Control Room was being built, so a temporary facility was built in the auditorium to allow ongoing full facilities every Sunday. Also, the Control Room layout had to be carefully design as it was to contain all the Control Room facilities, 4 equipment racks and 2 Edit Suites. Products of note
The 8 camera facility is used primarily to record the services, with the main output from the Control Room also appearing on the HD projected images within the church auditorium. Two edit suites are housed within the TV Control Room, allowing Play-ins during the services and close collaboration between the Post Production and Live Production teams. Dub facilities and Standards Conversion were also installed with all signal paths controlled by a Pro-bel router. |
